Agree with above, but as a personal experience I was required to get fingerprinted this year when I renewed and I had been fingerprinted as well on initial licensure 8 years ago. Not sure why since I never got a clear answer just "We're making everyone do it."

i see, so then i guess that means fingerprinting and CEUs every 2 years for as long as your license is active...how fun...

Well, this is only the second time in 8 years, so maybe only every fourth time you renew Personally, I wish there were more continuing education requirements for RN's. But I know I'm in the minority on that one.

If it's required then it needs to be done but only the board has thre answer.
