Masters program. Which is easier thesis or research project stream.

Im currently an RN and considering applying for the Masters program in a Canadian University. The one in my town offers a thesis stream or a major research project stream. Ill have to study part time as I work and have a child. Which option do you think would be easier and less time consuming?

Neither. You need to find out from a school advisor about the time allowed for each. They are VERY similar in the amount of research and paperwork you need to do. My thesis program was two semesters. I began the research prior to then so I had time to process everything. My friend did the research project. Took her about the same amount of time. It is like eating an elephant - one spoonful at a time

Easier? EASIER??? Getting a master's in anything isn't supposed to be easy - to borrow a line from "A League of Their Own" "If it was easy, everyone would do it."Best wishes to you in whatever choice you make.

That's very true. Either route will be challenging. Any advice on getting academic references for a graduate program even if you've been out of school for a few years and haven't kept in touch with any professors.
