Making yourself stand out

Hi,
I have been looking at the post of new graduates having a hard time looking for a job and am looking for suggestions on how to make myself more job ready for future employers. I want to start early. I have 12 years CNA experience LTC and am in the process of of looking for a hospital job. I want to get phlobotomy,EKG, and BLS certs. What are some other certs I can get to look more job ready for employers?
