Naked Where I Work: Surgery

9 the surgery is over; i'm at home and on the mend. i cannot believe how much i'm sleeping! i should have known, but somehow didn't. i've been so focused on getting the breast cancer out of me, that i hadn't spent much time considering what comes afterward. pain! and the nagging voice of dh telling me over and over (and probably not without reason) not to use my arms -- don't lift, push or pull. ok -- now i understand why i have to tell my patients that same thing over and over and over and over . . . .

so what really good threads have i missed here?

i'm so glad you're beginning to mend at last. i remember i used my arms way too much postop after my lumpectomy and lived to regret it! take it easy! (that's an order!)we're so glad you feel well enough to come back for a visit! lots of hugs and prayers headed your way.
