Calling All VA employees

Hello all, I am very excited about receiving a job offer from the VA BUT am very nervous at the same time (if that makes any sense). I would love to hear from former and/or current VA employees about their experience. I am a new grad RN and will be working on the Med/Surg floor.

How long was your orientation?
How long were you able to have a preceptor?
I hear about the 2 year probation period, what all does this take in account for (days missed, time off requests)

I would love to hear your STORY! I've heard very good things but I am still nervous. I start orientation on October 9th! Thank you all!!!!!
