Browse Hospital Violation Reports

Rating:
(votes: 0)

The Association of Healthcare Journalists has launched a new site where you can search violation reports by Hospital/state (limited to those that have been discovered through Freedom of Information Act requests). I'm sure there are some juicy ones buried in there but it's difficult to just browse them based on the type of violation.

Be sure to share if you find any really good ones.

Good grief, a pimple-popping CRNA:HospitalInspections.org | Report Detail

I haven't found anything near that good, mostly failures to properly document restraints on intubated patients, pretty tame. Pimple-popper-CRNA is definitely the front runner so far.

Check out the state of Florida. There are plenty of misadventures reported. This is a sad case:HospitalInspections.org | Report Detail

I can only find one hospital near me that had any, and it was for a broken dishwasher in the kitchen. Yawn.

Oh wow...Just recently had a great article on AN about how wonderful sitters are. First infraction on this list could have been avoided if the ordered sitter had been present. So sad.HospitalInspections.org | Report Detail
