reapplying at hartford hospital

hello! I recently got hired at Hartford hospital, I am about to start on April 2013 but unfortunately it was forfeited because I missed a very important detail I was told that I can reapply again in 6 months.. is that true? 6 months is too long
I would think whatever HR told you is the time frame for reapplication is....whatever it is.Next time, I hope you won't miss whatever detail you missed that lost you this position. It's not easy to find jobs right now, as I'm sure you know.

If they told you six months, then yes I would assume that means 6 months. I'm sure it doesn't mean you can't apply to other jobs.

thanks for the replies... i was so frustrated with myself but it is what it is i gues.. ill just have to be more careful next time.
