Malpractice Insurance

2 I have a question about malpractice insurance. Do you guys think it's a good idea to purchase our own (like through NSO)? I had my own for the past year since I've been working in an office rather than a hospital, but now that I'll soon be in a hospital I'm not sure if I should renew it or not. I've heard some people say it's always a good idea to have our own. I've also heard some people say not to buy it because people could go after us if something happens rather than the hospital. Any advice is appreciate
KEEP IT...that insurance helps YOU. The hospital's malpractice insurance helps the HOSPITAL.

Yes you should renew it. I never had to use it so far and I hope I never have to. But it is good to know that I have sort of a safety net to help me just in case something happens.

Keep it, its too cheap not to carry. I will not work without it and yes I am in the hospital.

Have had it since I graduated some 30+ years and I would never think of working without it!I want someone to protect ME, not my employers who have their own big time, expensive corp lawyers.
