would like to be a nurse aide instructorRating: (votes: 0) Not sure if the requirements are the same as here in Michigan but..look into certification for a "Train The Trainer" certificate through your state board. Comment:
What kind of setting are you looking to work in? I ask because this will largely dictate the educational credentials likely to be required. A vo-tech type school, either community/school-district based or a for-profit trade school, will likely want at least a bachelor's degree. A community college will probably want a master's.

Check with your state regulators - a lot of states have specific requirements for people who teach CNA courses. The "certification" is granted at the state level, so you just need to find out which agency handles it for your location. Here in Tx, the regulatory agency is DADS (Dept of Aging & Disability Svcs) & they issue a certificate when you complete the training. Courses must be 'blessed' by DADS also.
