Thank you note?Rating: (votes: 0) I'm graduating in December. Today I had an interview with a nurse manager. It was for a labor and delivery or a mom and baby (couplet care) graduate nurse position. The manager seemed to really like me and told me to contact her if I had any questions. This would be a dream job. Should I send her a thank you note or should I just wait? They plan on giving offers next week. Thanks ![]() Heather Send the note. That's general SOP. Comment:
Send a thank you note first thing tomorrow morning. A thank you note never hurts but could help!Good luck, hope you get it!

You should always send a thank you note following an interview. It's proper etiquette.

Ditto to what everyone else has said. It's proper etiquette to send thank you notes to those who interviewed you. Hope you get the job!

Thank you everyone!! I had thought it was proper etiquette and I went ahead and sent the thank you note. I just wanted another opinion as several others had told me it was unnecessary. They make final decisions on Monday and start giving offers on Tuesday. I'm a nervous wreck. This is so much worse than waiting to find out if I got into nursing school.

I sent one after my interview in February. My NM said that was what set me apart from the other applicants and I was hired the day she received it.Good luck!
