Jobs as a CNA-2

I am beginning training next week to get my CNA-2 certification. I'd very much like to get hired at the hospital I'll be interning at. Although I know it's not guarantee can I get any advice on how to make myself more competitive as an employee candidate? The hospital wants 1 year of employment in an acute care facility, but so far I only have 7 months. Will that be a deal breaker? One last question: can I start applying for CNA-2 jobs during my training or do I need to wait till the end?
