In need for a good support shoesRating: (votes: 0) Thanks! Have you tried Brooks shoes? I recently switched to them and they are good. Comment:
No I haven't ...Is there specific style you like ? Running, walking etc?

Different things will work for different people, but what I've found is best for me is Skechers Shape-ups. They will do nothing to get you into shape but the cushion-y heel is perfect for me. I wore Danskos for a while but developed plantar fasciitis. It has vastly improved with the shape-ups.

I have worn Allegrias for a little over a year. My feet never hurt...good luck!

Brooks has running and walking shoes. I live in Mi and we have an awesome store in the Detroit area for runners. I got mine there. I bought these shoes because I have an issue with over pronation and these shoes control that. I have plantar fasciatis and posterior tibial tendonitis as well. These shoes made a huge improvement. I wear the addiction 10. They have quite a few styles. You would have to try them on and see what works best for you.

Thanks for suggestions. I just bought Brooks Addiction wide style. They have free shipping on returns so I will give it a try. I could not find Allergria in my size in stores or online. I looked for the one with laces. Hope Brooks helps because my feet are so sore at this point .

I recommend seeing a podiatrist to determine if your foot structure and/or gait need special attention. I found out that my gait is "off" and contributes to foot pain. He gave me exercises to do and recommended an insert (they come in MANY types). That was all good information.
