Need survey participants for MSN: re: Veteran Centered Care

Introduction:You are invited to participate in a research project being conducted by a researcher from Western Governors University. Mrs. Karyn J Hodgins is conducting research to determine if nurses who are employed at private sector facilities are adequately prepared to provide comprehensive veteran centered care.

Description of the project:The purpose of this research is to determine if there is adequate education being provided to nursing staff in the private sector regarding the care of veterans at non-VA facilities. The research will be a survey with simple questions that is posted on a website that is for nurses and nursing students. There is no classroom participation required. The participant will be asked to click on a hyperlink within a message board that will take them to a survey with simple questions. The researcher asks that the survey be answered to completion

Unfortunately Saphy, I work in a VA Hospital. Otherwise, I would be more than happy to help.

It's my experience that out in the private sector, there isn't enough education regarding vet centered care and resources.
