I notice nice veins!

6 OK, it's getting bad. I'm watching 48 hrs. They show a close up of the detective writing a note on his pad. My first thought? 'What a nice vein!'. I could get an 18 gauge in that one, no prob.

I do it! I love to look at good veins! Although sometimes I think it's more satisfying to have to search a little bit

I'd get a chest decompression needle in, so there!

Haha, same here. I watched Thor: The Dark World recently, and in the scene where the actor Chris Hemsworth was washing his arms , all I could think was "Dang, those VEINS!"

I once read something titled "you might be an emergency nurse if..." One of them was "if you study the veins of the other people in line checking out at the grocery store." It might be a bit creepy, but I do it!
