Any one else done an ACL injury?Rating: (votes: 0) Cheers I have never had an ACL injury. I have had IT band syndrome before and it was helped with physio. Don't feel bad about having to move up the surgery date. It happens. You reinjured your knee and need to get it taken care of. Comment:
I tore mine playing softball in 2004. That "dislocate and pop back" feeling you are experiencing is quite likely a meniscus tear moving around. (That's a REAL special feeling, isn't it??). Working is very difficult when your knee does that little trick. When that kept happening to me, my doc said "MRI" with surgery following that. I had an allograft ACL replacement and meniscus trim. (I had an epidural and watched the procedure - pretty cool!) I was walking and PTing soon after surgery and had a great recovery. Still holding strong 10 years later!. It sucks but they are getting REAL good at that particular surgery. You got injured, no reason to feel guilty. Focus on getting better and good luck!
