How do your hospitals raise or keep high your patient experience scores?
Make the nurses and other staff bend over backwards to give them whatever they want, even if it's unreasonable beyond measure. Also a policy was changed recently due to low scores in the ED, and that impacted the floor nurses so that probably now the ED will get great scores but the floors will get lower scores due to the same policy change. No I'm not bitter. ;-)

Usually the hospital implements new things every month. For example, does your patient know med side effects and do teach back? No? Okay well now everyone gets a piece of paper with their meds highlighted and common side effects listed which is great. Then your manager comes along and if you don't have that paper in your patients room you get written up!
