Which organization focusses on nurse/patient ratios?

I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I want to become involved with an organization that focusses on getting laws for nurse/patient ratios. Does anyone know of such an organization? Thanks
Try a nursing union - any of them.

dont waste your time contacting your local state board, that is if they are like the ones here in ms..they'll frankly tell you thats not there dept at present. the joint will by pass the question and tell you its under review by their dedicated staff... just pray you have a good union and shop steward.
