Nurse Bullying

In my recent job, I have encountered severe nurse bullying. The management knows this person bullies every new nurse yet does nothing to stop it. The other day her bullying put me in what I consider unsafe condition for my patients and myself. I was wondering how people deal with what I consider toxic nursing because it is mentally and physically exhausting dealing with it.
I worked in a place like that, temp job to see if the newly-created position would be a full-time job. When they offered the full-time job I said no. Manager and head doc begged me to stay, offered more money, but I'd been there 2 1/2 months and couldn't take it anymore. The doc even acknowledged the MA that was bullying me but nothing was ever done about her behavior. I got the heck out of Dodge and have never been happier! If management is aware of the situation and does nothing (my manager told me he didn't want to micromanage because we're all adults) then it's going to continue to be a miserable workplace.
