is it nurse's week?Rating: (votes: 0) It doesn't officially start until Tuesday. It goes from Tuesday to the following Monday. Comment:
We're celebrating Monday thru Friday but it's all things we planned ourselves. The only thing the company is doing is a poster session showcasing nursing research.
Comment:
Taco's in a bag tomorrow and Hawaii stuff all week.

Oh, is it Nurses' week? At my hospital, it's DAYSHIFT nurses' week, but us night-shifters, well...let's just say apparently we don't matter one bit apparently. As usual.
Comment:
We get ignored during Nurse's Week. They have "Hospital Week" later in the month to celebrate everyone. However, Respiratory, Lab, and Radiology all get stuff on their own weeks throughout the year in addition to goodies and celebrations during Hospital week. Nurses always get shafted. Especially night shifters.
Comment:
Nothing planned for nurses at my facility. As usual.
Comment:
Nothing, but I work in a school so the teachers get the kudos.

Yeah some of the higher ups were going around passing out ice cream and we got gym bags too.

Stuff going on every day this week at work to honor nurses, including a catered lunch for night shift one day this week. We are also all getting a gift, don't know what it is yet

For the first time: a banquet at a local 4 star hotel, with awards, door prizes, an insulated lunch bag with the company logo and a wallet that protects cards from being scanned and a "kudos" bar in it, wine/beer free at the bar, and a DJ to run some dance music after. Was really good roast beef, and a pasta bar! You and a guest.

Nothing. I only know it's nurses week from facebook. Not that it matters. I don't need another cooler or useless tote bag.
