No Direct Patient Care Positions

What job alternatives are there for RN's (with a BSN) that do not involve direct patient care? Not necessarily management type positions either.
Appreciate ideas......
Insurance companies, phone triage, nursing informatics are three that come to mind.

Keep in mind that these positions are likely to only be open to applicants that have clearly demonstrated levels of clinical competency. One way to improve your chances is to obtain a nationally recognized specialty certification - because this is a clear indicator of expertise and knowledge.
