Giving/Receiving report

New RN & I really need to practice getting & receiving report. I know it will come with experience but the inability to articulate can really cause people to prematurely question your competence.

Do you know of any resources outside of work that I can use to practice (part of it is simply short term memory!). Any websites perhaps?
I don't know how much time you have to prepare for report, but as an LVN, what has helped me is prepare for shift change ahead of time. I try to have the report sheet filled out in advance of shift Change. I also try to skim it/rehearse in my head ahead of time. I try to imagine the types of questions the oncoming nurse is likely to ask and I write that info down. Sometimes I color code my report sheet so I know what items are critical and which I can leave off unless the oncoming nurse asks about them specifically.I also make an effort to relax and center myself prior to shift change so I can calmly give report.
