Mentioning past disciplinary actions for job applicationsRating: (votes: 0) It's time for students to start applying for jobs and on the application they have asked whether you have any previous employment disciplinary actions taken against you...the usual disclaimer says if any information is untrue it can lead to termination of employment. My question is.....should I mention that suspension or is it irrelevant to the nursing job I'm applying for now. Because you are still working there, and will have to list that company as your current employer, it would be best to mention it. Be prepared to briefly explain the circumstances and how you corrected them.On many applications I have completed over the entire courses of my careers, I have been asked if a potential employer could contact my current one, or not. If that option is available to you on the applications you complete, don't be afraid to use it.Good luck to you. Comment:
I have a disciplinary mark on my oklahoma LPN license . They were never revoked or suspended and I continued working the full time . Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not I can get my Texas license . This has been about 5 years ago . I've been a LPN for 10 and thinking about moving to Texas.
