Grady hospital

Hi,
I recently applied for a position at Grady and when I go to check on the application it says position on hold. I was wondering if anyone knew what this meant.

In my organization, it means that even though there is a vacancy, it has not been "approved to fill". There are no automatic replacement processes any more. Hiring managers have to gain approval before they can fill a vacant position.
