CNA jobs

I'm in LV and am looking to work towards becoming a CNA. My schooling starts in January and ends in June. My concern is the job market. I know a lot of places require experience after licensure and will not hire without experience. I've been a caregiver before. Is there a way that I could gain experience before and during schooling so I can jump right in a few weeks after I become certified? I know some places offer free training as for CNA, I guess I would except that but I Want all my experience to count so I'd have a better chance of working in a hospital setting when I become certified, if that makes sense. Has any one had any similar opportunities to get the extra one up? Any suggestion or point in the right direction is welcomed and tremendously appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Most of the places that offer free CNA training are nursing homes. They'll usually work you as a NA, also called an uncertified nurse assistant, until you pass your state CNA test. This way you'll get experience before you pass your exam.

I think you'll need to work your way up the ladder. I did 2 months in LTC before jumping on at the hospital.I don't think hospitals hire w/o previous exp typically, but couldn't hurt to apply! My hospital required I submit my CNA cert #, if your hospitals require that, going to a free program which doesn't result in licensure will hinder you, even with experience.
