If I am separated should i include my spouse on my fafsa?

if i am not divorced but only separated should my spouse be listed on my fafsa???
How did you file your tax return? Married or married filing separately? The latter will be easier in general but there is a choice on the FAFSA for 'separated'. I too have separated from my husband, but our divorce will not be final until later this year. I filed my taxes as married filing separate and chose my martial status as separated, not single or married.
