LTC or Home Health Agency?

Morning one and all-
I just passed my NCLEX last Thursday! I am still trying to decide what it is I want to do! I have it narrowed down to LTC or Home Health-(I would really, really like mental health or alcohol/drug rehab-not seeing much on that though) As a new grad. which would be the best experience? I can see the plus/minus of both sides-anyone have any insight?

Congratulations!, From everything I've heard, and some personal experience, you can't get a job as a new grad in home health. You are basically on your own, and need solid assessment skills behind you. If that's your path, I would strongly encourage some med/surg background. I'm not sure about transitioning from LTC to home health, you may want to post in the home health specialty forum, Good Luck !
