How Do I Know If I Want to Be a Nurse?Where can I volunteer/intern without experience

i have graduated from college with a ba in psychology. i am now considering entering a program offered for students who have a ba/bs in a field other than nursing who want to get their msn (in 3 years).

but first!! i want to know if nursing is for me! my mom is an rn and i have spoken with her, but i would really like to be able to experience something for myself before i make such a big commitment to my education.

it seems that volunteer/internships/and jobs require experience or education- neither of which i have.

does anyone have any recommendations on how to know if i want this as my career???
