thinking of becoming a nurse but doubtful

I have thinking heavily on becoming a nurse, but I keep hearing horror stories about poop and enemas! either of which I could manage to deal with! however the side of nirsing that really interests me are plastic surgery nursing, dermatology nursing or neonatal nursing. Are any of these specific jobs hard to get hired on to? is it hard for a new nurse that has just graduated to get hired into any of these fields? do these field pay as good as other nursing fields? I am really curious because nursing school is ery expensive and these are the only areas, as of now that I am interested in upon graduating with a BSN.
It's hard to imagine, but you get used to the poop and enemas, and there are things that are WAY more gross to deal with than either of them.After graduation, most programs I've heard of strongly encourage working for at least a year on a med-surg floor (or at least in a hospital) so you can gain the skills necessary to make you proficient. The truth of the matter is that even after you graduate, you are only really qualified to work as a trainee - not the equivalent of a skilled nurse. Therefore, I don't think you would have as great a chance of landing the type of job you are looking for right out of school, but there may (of course) be exceptions.
plastic surgery nursing = becoming an RN first assistdermatology nursing = apply to a dermatology group (probably the easiest of the list to get into)neonatal nursing = probably the hardest to get into w/o experience
