RN and MPH after a BA in Humanities Fields?

I'm currently in my Sophomore year working towards a BA in 'Cross-Cultural Relations' and 'Geography, Globalization, and Regional Studies'. As I would eventually like to work overseas in politics and public health I would really like to complete this degree. However, I cannot seem to find information on completing a nursing degree that is shortened by the pre-reqs which I have already completed. Since I was originally headed towards a pre-med major I have completed quite a few (Calcs I and II, Physics I, Biology I, Chems I and II and Orgo Chem I). Are there nursing programs available for folks that allready have their BA in an unrelated area of study? At the moment I seem to be being pointed towards dropping my studies here at my AA and transfering to a nursing program now which is not really something that seems to fit my plans.

On a somewhat related note. Is it possible to pursue such a nursing program while working towards a Masters of Public Health?

Career-wise, I guess what I am really headed towards is working with an organization like Medecins Sans Frontieres in the field as a nurse, working both as a hands on nurse and/or in a public health logistical/managerial position. If possible I would also be working towards a PhD. Eventually, after a good deal of 'in the field' experience I would like to work up towards larger scale political/public health positions. This is, of course, just a plan and is continually changing and evolving.

So, I suppose what I am asking is do y'all know of any one or two year RN programs designed for BA graduates? Or maybe any evening/weekend courses which I could do while pursuing my MPH? Are there any accelerated courses around that are geared for folks that already have a good load of sciences/maths?

In a word: Yes there are programs for persons with a degree in another field. No you can't do this while pursuing any other degree.Nursing is too rigorous and time consuming. Programs for BA graduates are called "accelerated BSN programs" and you can become a nurse in 1 to 1.5 years depending on the program. They are super-intense programs and require all of your attention and time. No matter how smart and focused you are, don't fool yourself into thinking you can do an accellerated program while getting your MPH.Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
