MA Student wanting CNA job

I am a Medical Assistant and I am trying to get a job as a CNA until I graduate in April. I am in my fifth mod and have two more to go. HIPPA, OSHA, CPR, AED, AIDS & HIV and EKG certs. Have completed all clinic competence tests with 100% ability and skill and have passed all lecture & terminology test with 98% or better. Can I take the certification exam for CNA with the schooling I currently have, or do I need to take a "CNA" course.
I would check with your state, but I'm pretty sure you will still have to take a CNA training class. Most are about 4-6 weeks where I live.
