business atire vs. Scrubs

I am currently a student and will be graduating in May with my AA in Business. I have decided to change my career to Nursing. I am taking the entrance exam next week for the nursing program and my school and am hoping to start in August 09. I am looking into getting my CNA degree. I am looking into jobs at a Nursing Home/community. My friend suggested that when I go into apply instead of dressing in Business atire to dress in a nice pair of scrubs to show that I am interested in the job and am willing to go out of my way to prove so. Does this seem like a good idea or should I dress in business atire when I go to apply?
When I go job hunting, including interview appointments, I wear business attire. I was hired for nursing assistant jobs when I wore business attire.
Definitely business attire. The only people I have heard of interviewing in scrubs were coming straight from the current job, and the person they were interviewing with knew it ahead of time. For the record, I don't think that is acceptable practice anyway (working a shift in scrubs then interviewing in those icky scrubs. Bring a change of clothes and find a bathroom).
