Two Jobs and or passions.

I was just wondering if any of you have a second passion or job other than nursing, I want to become a nurse and eventually a CRNA but I also want to find something else to do when I am not working as a nurse, maybe a part time business, Do any of you have a part time business or a second job - passion? What do you like to do when you are not working?
My passions are my family and nursing. When I'm not at work, I'm focusing on my family.

I don't have a business, or a second job but I am nut for Photoshop and hobbyist graphic design. Tait

I am also a classical musician, and usually have a church organist position "on the side."

i love books and all things mystical. I want to create a mystically minded shop in the near future. (Did have part ownership in 2 used bookstores in the past...loved it)peace

I am a Detective in a major municipal police department and graduated from nursing school about 5 years ago. I am currently working in a busy ER.

I am a practicing Buddhist, social activist, flyfisherman, gardener, and translator!

Well, I am about to start nursing school, and am a massage therapist and Pilates instructor. When I get out of school, and (hopefully) find a job as an RN, I still want to massage and teach Pilates. While I think other interests are good for balance in one's life, I also worry about about being spread too thin.

Years ago, I took part in community theatre, both on stage and as a stage manager. I have done extensive volunteer work at times, sold cosmetics, and I read voraciously.It's important to have other things to focus on. I keep thinking I would like to draw or paint, but never seem to make time for it.Wish I learned to play an instrument!

Besides nursing, I have an online website (12 years), selling horse related stuff.

I really like business and plan to start my own business in the future. I like working with underprivileged kids in the inner city and I also joined Big Brother Big Sisters of Chicago a couple of years ago.

I love spending time with friends and family. While I was in nursing school I did not have a life. So life is very important to me. I work hard, so I play hard. I have friends who wants to open a business. I will help them as much as I can. They were very supportive my goals. I like to do things in groups to have fun. I would love to be an interior decorator. In this profession I would be able to take my time and make slow decisions. Good luck to you.
