im a confused college student =Rating: (votes: 0) Hey Red! Welcome aboard.I would strongly advise you to pursue your BSN for a couple of reasonsFirst of all, you're very young yet so you certainly have the time and the job situation for new grads is pretty tight right now in many areas of the country. It will undoubtedly be easier to find that first job 3 or 4 years from now. Secondly, it is just so much harder to try to 'double back' on your education for that BSN after you have already started to work. Having to do the whole pre-req & application thing all over again. It's a hassle. You will want a BSN because it will open up doors for you that may be closed with an ADN - mgt jobs, specialty training, etc. That being said -- take your pre-reqs in a community college! Usually smaller classes & much less expensive. Be sure to talk with the nursing schools you're interested in to make sure that the courses will transfer.BTW, there's really no need to point out the fact that you're male -- we don't discriminate! Keep us posted on your progress. Comment: =] thanks for the help!
