NP or CRNA? Help!!!Rating: (votes: 0) Nanaita I believe you will need to work at least 2 years in ICU in order to qualify for acceptance into CRNA programs. I don't see how you can work while completing this program, since it includes extensive clinical practice requirements. NP credentials require an MSN. The programs all include clinical practicum requirements that may be tough to arrange if your work schedule is not flexible. Are you thinking of trying for admission into an accelerated program that includes the BSN along the way? There are other MSN routes that do not include so much clinical time - CNS, admin, educator - have you given any thought to these? Comment: CNS also includes extensive clinical time - in my state, IL, the clinical time is the same as NP.
