Canadian Nurse moving to the US to work... any differences?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this... I am a ER RN in Canada moving to Florida in a couple of months and I have six years experience of nursing solely in Ontario, Canada. What differences can I expect in nursing in the US? I know the glucometer readings and lab values are different. Are temps all taken in Farenheit? I know these seem like silly questions but it's the minor things that I am worried about! LOL! Any advice on what to expect would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
