How do you get certified as a Public Health RN in CA?

I'm new to California and I am in the process of applying for a CA RN license by endorsement. I'm applying to state jobs but a few require a certificate in public health. How do I obtain this? My nursing skills are a bit rusty as i'm a military wife who spent the past 5 years overseas. Please help!
