Job offer with other interviews scheduledRating: (votes: 0) I've used this site multiple times to help me during the last 6 months, but this is my first post! I am a new grad and I have a job offer at great institution that does not pay well. They want an answer today! I have an interview tomorrow at another hospital that pays much better. Should I accept the one offer and then see what happens with the other interview or try to hold off the recruiter at the other place until after my interview? I really like the place and the people where I have been offered the job, but the pay may be a deal breaker. I don't want to burn any bridges either...PLEASE HELP!!! I would accept the offer because you don't know that the other interview will result in an offer. If you get a better offer, you can go back immediately to the first facility and rescind your acceptance, but you can't reverse the process. Good luck on your next interview. Comment: Thanks Cali!! My gut is telling me to take the original offer. I had a great interview with the nurse manger and the facility is top notch. I would hate to accept the offer then rescind down the line, but I guess I can cross that bridge if it comes to it.Comment: Yes. You've got that right. Cross one bridge at a time. In today's economy, it is more likely that this is the only offer you get, no matter how well you present yourself to all prospective employers.
