Contining Ed for CNA's without being employed

Hello, I got my CNA license in Nov 2008 (since I was new the license is still good for 2 years). I did have a job that I was able to get my con. ed. But now its coming up soon that if I can not find a job by Nov I will lose my license and I really like this type of work. So I am wondering if there is anyway to get the continuing Ed. (12 credits in MN), without actually getting employed.
