Hospital RN to Home Care RN...is this a good idea?

I graduated back in May 09 and I've been working on a Med-Surg Unit for 1 year now and as much as I love the people I work with, there are several things about working in a hospital that I just don't like. Then again, its probably just the unit that I work on. Its really hard work, but I'm learning a lot. I've recently just been offered a home care RN position. Its a wonderful nationwide home health company, offers great benefits, very good pay and very close to my home (I currently drive 40 miles to work one way...yikes!!) My question is, will I have trouble finding a hospital job later in the future if I decide to go back to the hospital setting? Is working home care going to negatively effect my job experience?

If you are thinking along those lines, the best person to ask would be a hiring manager at a hospital. But then, that would be one person's outlook. Most people keep their hospital jobs, at least part time, when they go to home health. That way, you can have your cake and eat it too.
I thought about going part time (if they let me) at the hospital, but I'm pretty certain that the home care position requires me to work five days a week. I guess I have to find that out first before asking if I can go PT. I want to give this home care a shot, but at the same time I don't want to utterly just up and quit my hospital job that I've gotten use to.
