Salary for clerical position in hospital or other clinical setting?

Hi all:

I really need a part-time job while I am in school! I don't feel I have time to become a CNA. I am a mother of 3, including a toddler. I was hoping I can get a part-time clerical job in a hospital as a unit secretary or doing patient registration, etc.

Does anyone know what reasonable pay for such a position would be? I am applying for some positions, and they ask for desired salary. I am flexible, but afraid of putting too little or too high and not even getting considered for these jobs. BTW, I am in NJ.

Anyone have any idea of what to expect for pay for these types of jobs?
