Frustrated! of landing hospital job.....

I worked as Home health nurse two home health company, but still im not satisfied because of that dream to work/help critical patients, just what i did way back in my country. i worked as staff nurse in med-surg an icu in my country, but here i can't land a hospital job even as a medsurg nurse...i think it applies with my status, because as of now my work permit expired and i couldn't renew it. before when my work permit is active i was hired at kaiser as LVN, but now im already an RN nobody hired me. i just want to ask help, pls...could you give me some info where i could practice my profession as a nurse or know/practice some nursing skills, cuz by the time i already have that necessary papers to work im ready to work in the hospital and i think they could hire me....
