New ER Nurse

I am about to begin working at a ER and I would like to know any helpful tips of advice you ER nurses have for me. It is my first actual nursing job and I am worried to say the least. I believe I am meant to work in the ER and I am fairly confident in my skills, however, nothing beats experience, which I have very little. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

My advice to you is to take it one day at a time, don't be too hard on yourself, and you can only do one thing at a time!!!!Don't be afraid to ask questions and for help when you need it. And always help others when you can!
