?s about an associate degree in healthcare management

I've currently been placed on a waiting list from nursing school so I was looking into an associate's degree in healthcare management which I'm only like 5 classes away from so my question is would this degree be benificial to me being that I'm not a nurse already or would I have to currently be a nurse to get a job with this degree?
Degree is not very helpful unless you get it from a reputable school. Most of the schools offering this degree are the "degree mill" variety. Look for a reputable school with a reputable program.
