Bedside nursing care to global healthcareRating: (votes: 0) Comment:
Thank you kindly, Romano. It almost seems like one has to originate elsewhere to appreciate America for what it allows to effect a change in peoples' lives. Often, privileges given by birth are not appreciated enough...and I mean only in that context, since folks definitely have different views. Anyway, I wish you well.

I am also a nurse and currently finishing my MSPH degree major in Epidemiology... After this I'm planning to specialize in field epidemiology and research.. I think that I shouldn't limit myself to the borders of hospital instead choosing a path where I can have impact in larger scale. Good luck to us!

jonathan03...kudos! You certainly are on your way. And once we've achieved our goal, we don't stop being a nurse anyway in the context of giving individualized care in the hospital or elsewhere. The profession is economically viable, wherever we geographically move and whatever setting, i.e., hospital, clinic, academia, research. I am happy to report that I am starting my MPH program soon! Nursing is directly related and I am sure we will be able to contribute to this next chosen field.
