Do you put seasonal work on your resume?Rating: (votes: 0) ![]() ![]() ![]() Also I am working on my Rn to BSN now, so i have been puting that on my resume. Do you think that helps or does not make a difference to recuriters? I put that I will have my BSN in 2011. I am thinking of paying for some nursing certifications like ACLS to try to make me more appealing to employers. Even though I have only been job searching for a month I am starting to get really discouraged. ![]() ![]() Definitely put both positions on there. It can't hurt. Also, putting your BSN coursework on there can't hurt either... but make sure you're doing it correctly. Contact them approximately 1 and half to two weeks later to see where the hiring process is. It might not even hurt to send letters of reference WITH your resume... do you have one from your preceptor that speaks to your clinical skills? Most recent clinical instructors? Comment: Thanks for the reply. I have recommendations from clinical instructors, and the nursing director of the school. I submit them as references and they write recommendations as needed. So far all that hasn't helped. I think I need to revamp my resume. I did not have BSN listed like that. I just had it as a bullet under education. Just trying to get into the swing of things with resumes and job hunting is throwing me for a loop. I had the same customer service job for 4 years before starting nursing school. I did not work during nursing school. So I think that is where my problem is. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it!Comment: Definitely include the clinic jobs and highlight the differences between them on your resume to show that you have gained different types of experience.
