Looking for information on the ARMY NURSE CORPS.

Im currently a freshmen working toward a bsn. im very interested in serving as nurse in the army. I understand that it is a very competitive flied and would like to know what I can do since now to give me a leg up. Once again Im in the second semester of my freshman year. Im 18 and very interested to hear from some of you that have maybe been through the program.
