Need advice quickly. Any one here work or worked in a clinic???

I've been a bedside nurse at a hospital for a few years and am considering a position in a clinic. I would be going from three 12 hour shifts to five 8 hour shifts. I would like to know if anyone liked this change. I DO know it depends on the clinic, but I'd like to still be able to eventually get my masters after the job change and grow but not feel exhausted all the time. I'd like to hear input of the pros and cons of clinic setting.
