NP/Psychology minor

I want to recieve my Doctoral's in NP as well as a minor in psychology. I want to have a degree in psychology because I feel that it will help me understand my patients more when I start working in the nursing field. I was wondering if getting a minor in psychology would be a good idea, or should I disregard it? Do you think I am going to get enough psychology classes while pursing my Doctoral's in NP that I do not even have to worry about a minor in psychology?
