advice for education paths

I know to a certain degree this question has been asked on here, but I need a little more insight.
I currently live in arizona where the wait to get into the nursing programs in the community colleges and universitys is 2 years, which I cant do. My question is this, If I go to one of those trade schools what is the likelyhood that when I move to california (orange county area) that Ill get a job as a nurse? I know that typically going to a trade school rather than a community college or university, you arent quite held on the same level. I chose nursing because I enjoy the medical field, and the demand for nurses are much higher then most others(for example, Im a certified phlebotomist, but cant find a position). Anyhow, any input is very appreciated. hank you
