I am currently a CNA and i am about midway though my 3rd semester for lvn school. i love being a nurse but im kinda think that i need more of a faster pace. i like telemetry but the skilled nursing and med surg floors board me to tears! i am excited for our ER rotation and im thinking ill like it there. Ive also applied to jobs as an ER tech. so my question is can i move laterally to paramedic? Challenged the board? or do i have to go through the program? is there a such thing as a bridge? i tried to do a lil research for abt the last week but the answers seem to be going in circles.... Help me out... or can you point me in the direction?
I believe I have seen bridge programs but for RN to paramedic and vice versa. I believe you would have to complete an EMT program to go that route. Good idea to get both, then you will have more job opportunities. Good luck.
